Privacy Policy
How this website handles your data. The short answer: no accounts, no tracking, no cookies.

The short version. This is a static website. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, shows no ads and embeds no third-party widgets. It never asks you to sign in.
The only data stored about you sits in your own browser (your theme choice, your 3D viewer settings, any map markers you place) and it never leaves your device. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs, as every web host does.
1. Scope and who is responsible
This policy covers this website wherever it is served from, including any domain or subdomain it runs under and the separate origin that serves its images and map tiles.
The site is operated by McMeddon, who is the controller for any personal data processed through it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Server logs
The site and its map tiles are served by Cloudflare (Workers and R2 storage). When your browser requests a page or a tile, Cloudflare processes the usual connection data: your IP address, the requested URL, the time of the request, your browser's user agent string and the referring page.
That data is used only to deliver the files you asked for, to keep the service available and to defend it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a working, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are short-lived, are not linked to any profile and are never used to build one. Cloudflare also aggregates this log data into the traffic statistics we see in its dashboard, described in section 5.
Cloudflare acts as our processor and may process this data on servers outside the EEA under the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
3. Cookies
This site sets no cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for anything else. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a consent banner.
4. What is stored in your browser
The 3D explorer and the site chrome remember a handful of choices using your browser's local storage. These entries are written only when you use the control in question, they stay on your device, and they are never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

None of these identify you. You can delete all of them at any time by clearing site data for this domain in your browser settings, which resets those preferences and removes any markers you saved.
Your browser also caches map tiles and images so that flying around a world does not re-download the same data. That is ordinary browser caching and you can clear it the same way.
5. No tracking or profiling
We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable product, we run no advertising or affiliate scripts, we load no tracking pixels, and we serve our fonts from this domain rather than a font CDN. Nothing in the page reports back on what you do while you are on it, and no profile of your visit is created anywhere.
Cloudflare does produce aggregate traffic statistics (request counts, rough country totals, error rates) from the server logs described in section 2. Those are counts, not people: they come from data Cloudflare already handles in order to serve the site, they involve no script in your browser and no storage on your device, and they cannot be traced back to an individual visitor by us.
6. Links to other sites
We link out to third-party platforms such as YouTube, Patreon, Discord and PlanetMinecraft. These are plain links: nothing is embedded, so those services receive no data about you until you actually click through. Once you do, their own privacy policies apply and we have no control over what they collect.
7. Commissions and correspondence
There is no contact form on this site. If you get in touch about a commission you do so through Discord, Patreon or PlanetMinecraft, and your data on those platforms is governed by their policies.
Where we then correspond about an actual project, we keep that correspondence and the project details for as long as needed to carry out and document the agreement (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), plus any period required by tax or commercial law.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- request access to the personal data we hold about you,
- have inaccurate data corrected,
- have your data erased,
- have processing restricted,
- object to processing based on legitimate interests,
- receive your data in a portable format,
- lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority. The EDPB member list links to the authority for each country.
In practice there is very little to request: without accounts, cookies or visitor tracking, we hold almost nothing about ordinary visitors beyond the short-lived server logs described in section 2.
9. Changes to this policy
If we add anything that changes the picture (analytics scripts, embedded players, a contact form), this page is updated first and, where the law requires it, you will be asked for consent before that feature runs.
