Ancient cities 69 worlds · 26% of the library The deep dark and its city, with sculk, the warden and the loot that justifies the risk. Rare in custom terrain, because the biome has to be there first. -
Trial chambers 54 worlds · 21% of the library The 1.21 combat dungeon, with its spawners, vaults and trial keys. Repeatable loot and the best fight the overworld has to offer. -
Woodland mansions 21 worlds · 8% of the library Woodland mansions, which only generate in dark oak forest and are the reason to go looking for one. Totems, illagers and the largest building in the game. -
Strongholds 212 worlds · 81% of the library The stronghold and its end portal: the one structure that gates the endgame. If you intend to fight the dragon on a world, it has to be in here. -
Ocean monuments 52 worlds · 20% of the library Ocean monuments, which need a deep ocean big enough to hold them. Guardians, sponges and enough prismarine to matter. -
Villages 66 worlds · 25% of the library Villages, and with them trading, beds and a place to start that is not a dirt hut. The fastest route to iron tools, food and a working economy. -
Pillager outposts 41 worlds · 16% of the library Pillager outposts, the raids they start and the banner that marks you. Crossbows and emeralds if it goes well, a very bad evening if it does not. -
Mineshafts 199 worlds · 76% of the library Abandoned mineshafts threaded through the caves below. Rails, chests and a quick way down into the deep stone layers. -
Desert pyramids 24 worlds · 9% of the library Desert temples, with the four chests and the pressure plate underneath them. Early enchanted books, and a crater if you are careless. -
Jungle pyramids 14 worlds · 5% of the library Jungle temples and their puzzle corridors. Dispensers, tripwire and a lever combination nobody remembers. -
Shipwrecks 81 worlds · 31% of the library Shipwrecks, the treasure maps inside them, and the buried chests those maps point at. The most reliable early iron and food on an ocean world. -
Buried treasure 34 worlds · 13% of the library Buried treasure, and the maps that find it. A heart of the sea in every chest, which is where a conduit starts. -
Ruined portals 160 worlds · 61% of the library Ruined portals, and the fastest route into the nether. Free obsidian, gold blocks and a frame someone else already sited. -
Trail ruins 109 worlds · 41% of the library Trail ruins and the archaeology that comes with them. Brushes, pottery sherds and armour trims you cannot get anywhere else. -
Igloos 7 worlds · 3% of the library Igloos, including the ones with a basement. A warm start on cold terrain, and the occasional zombie villager worth curing. -
Swamp huts 22 worlds · 8% of the library Swamp huts, and the witches inside them. Redstone, glowstone and a spawn point that keeps producing as long as you leave it alone. -
Dungeons / monster rooms 243 worlds · 92% of the library Monster rooms and their spawners, still the simplest mob farm in the game. Common enough to plan a base around and worth building on top of. -
Ocean ruins 149 worlds · 57% of the library Ocean ruins scattered across the shallows. Modest loot, drowned in the water around them, and the treasure maps that make the swim worthwhile. -
Amethyst geodes 194 worlds · 74% of the library Amethyst geodes in the stone below. Spyglasses, tinted glass and the only renewable source of amethyst in the game.

About these collections
How the structure lists are built
These lists come from scanning the world file and pinning each structure to real coordinates. A world is only counted when the building was found, never when the game merely could have generated one, so the numbers below are deliberately conservative.
