Forest & woodland Landscapes · 90 worlds · 18 free Worlds where woodland is the main landscape, from oak and birch stands to spruce taiga and closed dark oak canopy. Timber everywhere, cover to hide a base in, and the terrain most people picture when they think of survival. Counts
Plains & meadows Landscapes · 82 worlds · 7 free Open, buildable ground. The worlds people pick when the terrain should not fight the base, with room for farms, roads, animals and a settlement that can grow in every direction. Counts
Snowy & frozen Landscapes · 83 worlds · 10 free Worlds built mainly out of snowy plains, groves, peaks and frozen water. Bright ground that shows a build off, frozen lakes you can walk across, and very little cover between you and the horizon. Counts
Desert & badlands Landscapes · 40 worlds · 13 free Dune fields, mesa plateaus, savanna and canyon country, with the dry ground as the main event rather than a border. Open sightlines and almost no tree cover, so shade, water and wood are the things you plan around. Counts
Mountain & alpine Landscapes · 23 worlds · 9 free Worlds shaped by their elevation: peaks, ridgelines, alpine meadows and the valleys between them. Big vertical drops for cliffside builds, long views, and travel that costs real time. Counts
Ocean & islands Landscapes · 75 worlds · 17 free Worlds where the sea is most of the map: island chains, scattered land and long coastlines. Boats matter, land is a resource rather than a given, and every base ends up with a harbour. Counts
Beaches & shoreline Landscapes · 25 worlds · 12 free Worlds with an unusual amount of shoreline: sand, gravel banks and stony shores where the land meets the water. Built for harbours, coastal towns and a view over open sea. Counts
Oak & flower forests Made of one biome · 36 worlds · 7 free Plain oak woodland and the flower forests beside it, which is the default forest of the game and the easiest to build inside. Broad canopy, open floor and every dye the flowers carry. Counts
Birch forests Made of one biome · 31 worlds · 11 free Pale trunks and an open forest floor, the woodland that reads bright instead of dark. Easy to build in and easy to see through, with a light wood palette on hand. Counts
Dark oak forests Made of one biome · 21 worlds · 6 free Closed canopy, low light and the biome woodland mansions generate in. Mob spawns stay high under the leaves, so these worlds play harder at night than their size suggests. Counts
Taiga & conifer Made of one biome · 30 worlds · 11 free Spruce country, snowy taiga included: straight trunks, ferns and sweet berries under a cool sky. The wood-heavy landscape that suits a settlement with a roof pitched for snow. Counts
Old-growth taiga Made of one biome · 43 worlds · 3 free The giant-tree variants, pine and spruce both, with tall trunks, a podzol floor and moss-covered boulders. Cathedral scale under the canopy and the best wood-heavy terrain for a large build. Counts
Jungle & bamboo Made of one biome · 41 worlds · 15 free Worlds carrying real jungle: bamboo, tall canopy and the temples that come with it. Slow to cross on foot and rich in wood, cocoa and melons, with the thickest cover in the game overhead. Counts
Swamp & mangrove Made of one biome · 36 worlds · 15 free Mangrove roots, mud and shallow water, on worlds that give the wetlands room to spread. Awkward by land and easy by boat, with mud, frogs and the dim light that keeps mobs interested. Counts
Savanna Made of one biome · 36 worlds · 10 free Acacia, dry grass and the plateau shapes savanna generates on. Flat hilltops to build on, warm colour and open sightlines, without the emptiness of a full desert. Counts
Sand deserts Made of one biome · 27 worlds · 5 free Dune fields and open sand, the driest terrain the game builds. Sightlines to the horizon, sandstone in every direction, and shade and water as the first two things you plan for. Counts
Badlands & mesa Made of one biome · 42 worlds · 12 free Layered terracotta, plateau walls and the canyons cut between them. The one landscape that supplies its own colour palette, and the only place gold sits near the surface. Counts
Windswept terrain Made of one biome · 23 worlds · 10 free Exposed hilltops, steep slopes, broken ridgelines and dramatic overhangs. Terrain that supplies the drama itself, suited to cliffside bases and rough overland travel. Counts
Rivers & lakes Made of one biome · 33 worlds · 14 free Worlds threaded with real waterways rather than a puddle between hills. Boats are the fastest way around, valleys have a bottom worth building on, and a bridge is a decision. Counts
Cherry groves Rare finds · 56 worlds · 14 free Worlds with a real stretch of the pink canopy added in 1.20, not a stray chunk of it. It usually appears as a set piece inside a larger landscape rather than as the whole world. Counts
Pale gardens Rare finds · 16 worlds · 7 free Worlds carrying the 1.21.4 pale garden: pale oak, hanging moss and the creaking. It is one of the newest things in the game, so it shows up mostly in the recent releases here. Counts
Mushroom islands Rare finds · 39 worlds · 11 free Mycelium and giant mushrooms, on the one biome where hostile mobs do not spawn. Usually an island set piece, and the safest ground on any world that has it. Counts

Each world is baked into a biome map straight from its region files, so every collection here is measured rather than tagged. A world joins a landscape or single-biome collection by carrying markedly more of that terrain than the library's typical world, and a rare-find collection by having a real one of the biome somewhere on the map rather than a stray chunk.
